Welcome Weeks

The first  two weeks of the master program are dedicated to welcoming our students to ZEI and the city of Bonn. The program includes appointments and visits to the European Commission delegation to Bonn, the United Nations, the University of Bonn International Office, a city tour, the House of German History museum and socializing with Alumni. The Welcome Weeks also includes introductory tutorials on European Law and Economics and concludes with intercultural training sessions. The welcome weeks are an opportunity for our students to get to know each other and the city before the lectures begin.

Europe Dialogues

ZEI brings our students together with experts and practitioners of EU governance and regulation, many of them being ZEI alumni.

During these Europe Dialogues, practitioners from EU institutions, governmental administrations and international organizations provide an insight into their respective field of work. Giving students practical insights and the opportunity to expand their professional network.

ZEI Facilities

The facilities at ZEI are of the highest standard. Our conference room, in which most lectures take place, is equipped with video conference technology. Students can join online or in person in the conference room and are able to fully engage and participate in discussions with the lecturer and each other in a real hybrid learning atmosphere.

ZEI students also have access to four computer labs reserved for our students, the ZEI library and the in house canteen.

Located in the heart of Bonn’s international quarter we are located next to the train station “Bonn UN Campus” and the tram stop “Museumsmeile”.
