Our students were honoured by Prof. Michael Hoch, Rector of the University of Bonn, Nathanael Liminski, Minister for Federal, European and International Affairs and Media of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and Head of the State Chancellery and Dr. Ursula Sautter, Mayor of the City of Bonn.

It was a special anniversary that our ZEI Directors Prof. Christian Koenig and Prof. Ludger Kühnhardt celebrated with our guests, among them many ZEI Alumni from all over the world, in honour of this year's class. At the same time, this event also carries a bittersweet note, as it was not only an anniversary, but also the last year of this Master's programme, as together with the retirement of Prof. Kühnhardt next year, the Master of European Studies will also come to an end. But we are also happy to announce that the Master's programme will be continued in its spirit in the form of a new programme at CASSIS under Prof. Ulrich Schlie (Henry Kissinger Professor for Security and Strategic Studies), who was also among the speakers of the evening, and that our international alumni network, which has grown over the years and consists of more than 600 graduates from 125 countries, will continue to exist.

We would like to thank all those involved for a fantastic evening and the worthy conclusion of our heartfelt project! We would also like to thank the Bernd Lier Swing Ensemble, which has provided us with musical accompaniment at our graduation ceremonies for over 23 years.

Please find some impressions of the evening in our photo gallery and a video with greetings from MES Alumni.
