ZEI Monitor: EU Progress 2014-2019

ZEI follows policy progress in the ten areas which have priority for EU institutions over the period 2014-2019: 

Commission Priority: Jobs, Growth and Investment

Objectives

  • Offering better loans or greater risk capacity

  • Using the 2016 review of the EU's long-term budget (MFF) to steer EU funds towards jobs, growth and competitiveness

  • Encouraging national governments to boost growth and investment, within the limits of the EU's Stability and Growth Pact

  • Freeing small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) from red tape, to promote entrepreneurship and job creation
